Hi

I started to this Telerik Appbuilder recently to maintain and upgrade an app I already developed and published and its great but when I shall I compile it for Google Play, Appbuilder says I cannot have the underscore('_') character in the name, but my old app (which is published on Google Play) has a ID with an underscore already in it...

How can I build the app on AppBuilder with an underscore in the app id?

Best regards

Hello Erik,

I am copying my reply from the support thread you opened, in case other users are interested. If you have any questions or concerns, please post them in the support thread.

We are working on allowing OS-specific IDs in AppBuilder project properties in the next release (2.9). Currently, there are stricter rules because the Application Identifier needs to comply with all OS's requirements but this prevents cases like yours from working.

Stay tuned for the AppBuilder 2.9 release (end of this week or the beginning of next week) where you will be able to build your package.
