I'd like to see a VSCode extension for MS vscode that supports appbuilder hybrid (Cordova) development. Telerik has produced a comprehensive set of tools in the form of a Nativescript extension for vscode (https://www.nativescript.org/nativescript-for-visual-studio-code), but there is not an equivalent for hybrid development. Being able to use vscode with appropriate appbuilder extensions would honestly be a much better development environment than the "universal desktop" client current in development. Seems like Hybrid development is no longer a priority for AppBuilder, rather the focus is now all on Nativescript.

Hello Jim,

Indeed, AppBuilder doesn't have an extension for VS Code. However, you can use the AppBuilder extension for Visual Studio with Visual Studio Community Edition, which is free for individuals. Also, you can use the AppBuilder tools with Sublime Text by installing the AppBuilder Package for Sublime Text
Alternatively, you can do your development in VS Code and perform the AppBuilder-related tasks using the AppBuilder CLI.

Also, you could log a feature request for a VS Code extension in the Ideas an Feedback portal and post a link here, so others can vote for it.
