I accepted the required update to Visual Studio AppBuilder extension (I believe this is 2.8).

Now if I create a new Telerik Project (Templates/Telerik/AppBuilder - Empty TypeScript project) and then run the simulator, I get a blank screen - no device.

If i look at the console, it does have a line that says: "Received Event: device ready"

I am getting a similar behavior when i run one of my key projects (that used to work fine prior to the update) in the simulator.

This is a big problem for me.

Hi Mike,

I cannot replicate this issue locally. I attached an empty TypeScript project which I created so that you can test it on your side.

If the issue only replicates in the AppBuilder simulator, I would recommend that you close all device simulator instances running on your machine and remove the %localappdata%\Telerik\BlackDragon\Cache folder. If that doesn't help, can you please send over the AppBuilder log files - they are available under the %localappdata%\Telerik\BlackDragon\Logs directory.

Also, do let me know if the attached project runs as expected on your side and please check if its (and your projects') content is properly displayed on a device so we can narrow down the issue.
