I am looking into developping an simply contact app for my own purposes.

If I would save this data locally and would want to switch phone (lets say a move from S4 to Note III) how would I have to do it.

- no everline usage
- no external Database use

Well the reason I am asking is that if this is not possible then local database would not make much sense to me.

Hello Markus,

It is as you observe, local means local :) If you want something available for multiple devices, then you should consider saving to your own database or BaaS solutions (such as Everlive).

Dear Steve

Well I am not so dumb after all :-)

I might have to try out a view phones to see if the backup available from different vendors backups the whole database.

Any link you have or advice whats the best way to turn/imprt an excel sheet into a SQLLite.

Simle sheet
Name, Last name, Age for example but 1000 records.
