I installed App Builder on a new machine.

I went to publish an update to my existing app but there were no certificates in the list so I had to create a new one (assuming this was because of a fresh install)

I tried to upload the new apk to google play and it quite correctly told me the certificate was different.

I went back to the old machine to export the certificate so I could import it on the new machine.

I imported the old certificate onto the new machine and uploaded the apk to google but got the same message.

I've then checked the "details" of the certificate on the old machine and it appears it is the certificate i created today on the new machine.

How exactly has this happened?   At no point did i delete the original certificate, so why wasn't it in the list on the new machine?

Hello Steve,

In order to investigate your case further we need more information like the lost certificate fingerprint and the exact time frame you noticed that the certificate is not available in your AppBuilder keystore.
Note: The lost certificate thumbprint can be found in Google Play.

Due to the sensitive nature of this information we would like to kindly ask you to open a support ticket with the required data.
