Hi all,

I'm trying out AppBuilder (via Platform) to build a corporate app, it's pretty simple - four views, two Kendo data sources in standard lists and the standard navigation tabs across the bottom.  It works fine in the browser simulator, but as soon as I try it on a device (have tried two different Android devices now) after a short amount of use, switching between the views - the app becomes unresponsive and won't respond to any taps or swipes, and has to be closed manually.

Has anyone overcome a similar issue, and has any ideas about what might be causing this freezing up?

Thanks,

Andrew

Hi Andrew,

Are there any errors in the console output when the app freezes? This output is currently not available in the AppBuilder web client. You will have to download and install the AppBuilder Window client. When you open your project in it, you can expand the Output window by clicking the Show Output button in the lower right corner. When you connect your device with a cable to the PC, you will see a new tab there with your device model. In this tab you can see all console logs from the app on the device. Please, reproduce the problem and see if there are any errors there.

Alternatively, you can submit a support ticket and provide your sample app, so that we can take a look at it.

Visit the Telerik Verified Plugins Marketplace and get the custom Cordova plugin you need, already tweaked to work seamlessly with AppBuilder.

Thanks Martin,

I think I fixed the issue by tweaking some REST calls, if I have the same problem again I'll try checking the console in the Windows client as you suggested (I've just been using the browser client for now).
