Hi Anwar Arakkal,

Unfortunately the current version of the control does not support drawing custom annotations so it will not be possible to achieve the desired effect. This feature is in our TODO list and is currently planned for the Q2 2010 release of the control (~ around July).

Best wishes,

Yes, is this available? We need the ability to allow users to add custom annotations to pointmarks on radchart? Thanks.

Hi there,

The current version of the control provides limited built-in support for annotations (drawing custom lines, gridlines, and marked zones) -- more information can be found here.

Ok, this isn't exactly what is needed. Am needing a solution for users to be able to add descriptive information on selected pointmarkers. Our app, primarily statistics based, may encounter erratic values and am looking for a way for users to click a point and enter information about that point. Was thinking a context menu with an input box or something, but would need to capture the point. Does this sound possible? Thanks.

Hello Greg,

I have a similar scenario that I am addressing with the ChartArea.ItemClick event and its EventArgs to extract all the relevant mouse information (ChartItemClickEventArgs.MouseData) and the corresponding data information (ChartItemClickEventArgs.DataPoint / ChartItemClickEventArgs.DataSeries).

Greetings,
Bart.

Bart, you mind posting a brief example how you're doing that? Thanks!
