Animating the needle to the marker values

Hi. I have a user control that draws a single or multiple gauges. I want to be able to get the need to animate each of the markers and the needle value. As I dont know how many guages may be drawn then how would I store what needle value or marker is current. Thus value is 50, marker at 10 and a marker at 90, therefore the needle needs to animate to 10, pause, animate to 50, pause and then animate to the last marker of 90, then goes back and do the same again.
