I have an app with the push notification plugin. I'm sending a notification to GCM, using PushSharp to do the sending. Everything works in iOS, but it doesn't work too well on Android:
If the app is open in the background, the alert appears, I click on it and it opens the app.
If I kill the app, then click on an alert, it tries to open the app then crashes back to the home screen. If I then show running apps and try switching to the app, it crashes again and goes back to the home screen. I need to kill the app to get it to work again.
I've tried with Push Plugin 1.2.2 and 1.3.3, and Cordova 2.x and 3.0. I've read of this issue on some other forums, no resolution. And there's mention of the problem here, http://www.icenium.com/resources/forums/report-a-bug-/pushplugin .
I'm testing with a Samsung Galaxy S3, running Android 4.1.2.
Do you have any idea what's happening? It would be pretty embarrassing to publish an app that crashes like this. Thanks.
