Hi,

We are installing TeamPulse Standard Edition onto Server 2008 R2 64-bit with SQL 2008 Standard 64-bit.
The installation gets all the way to the end then says "An Unexpected Error Has Occurred".
The database connection works and the TeamPulse database gets created.
The username has no spaces in it.

Can anyone help?

regards,

S

Hello Stephen,

Could you run the installer with the following command line and post the results?

msiexec /i [Installer Path] /L*v c:\teampulseLog.txt

Best wishes,

Hi Jesse

We have ran the installer from the command prompt and found what the problem was.

Thanks for the reply.

Hi Jesse

We gave the new domain user account we created more permnissions in SQL to resolve the issue. When the user only had db_creator permissions the installation failed. When they had sysadmin role for master database the installation succeeded. It may be possible to use more granular permissions to acheive the same affect.

Thanks
