Aggregate and Grouping by a different field (how to?)

I have GridView with a column called projects and another column called hours. I want to display the sum of hours per project. This seems like it would be a very common request but I could not find an example in the demos. Thanks for any suggestions!

Also, I should mention that the hours property is a client side computed value; which seems to throw an error but the gridview works anyway.
