Hello,

I was wondering if there is a simple way to allow the datepicker to show and allow the selection of hours within a given date it is displaying. Our feature requirements mean that the calendar and datepicker work very well for what we need, but as we not only need to be able to select a specific day or range of days, but also designate start times down to minutes within those days, we need to be able to display and edit hours and minutes within the datepicker. I am sure there is a way to do this, I was simply hoping there was an easy way that can be provided.

Thanks to everyone for their time,

Philip Coffey

Hello Philip,

Unfortunately RadDatePicker allows only selection of dates. To select time intervals you will have to use RadTimePicker. This is a frequently requested feature, however, and we will provide some kind of integrated solution in the near future.

I had the exact same request and was thinking about using the RadMaskedTextBox to display the date with time.  How can I incorporate the date picker into the RadMaskedTextBox, or visa-versa?  The MaskedTextBox allows you to display date and time, this is how I would like the displaybox for the DatePicker to look like.
Thanks

Hi Hector,

Thank you for the posted suggestions. We are planning to extend our RadDatePicker with those features included for the upcoming Q3 2009 release. One possible way to use RadMaskedTextBox and RadDatePicker is to add them in a separate UserControl. Attached is a small application demonstrating our idea.
