Hey all,

Is there any way of adding items to the nav bar in iOS? I was hoping for a quick way of adding a graphic and a button but I can't find any documentation on how to do so.

Thanks,
TJ

Hi TJ,

Yes, the addition of UI elements to the NavBar is possible, however it would involve some platform-specific code, which might change the concept of ios-navigation we have implemented.

I'm continuing with the research and I hope to be able to send the example tomorrow.

Kind regards,

Hi TJ,

I managed creating an example, which demonstrates changing the title and some style properties of the navbar as well as the addition of a custom button.

Please, find it attached.

To run it, just extract the app folder under a NativeScript 0.4.2 project folder.

Let me know if more customizations would be better added.

Cheers,

Perfect. I was able to run the project without any issues. I'm going to keep one around as a reference.

Thanks!
