Hi, using the Q1 release, is it possible to add a custom button or action link to the grid? Is this what you use the 'toolbar' option for? and if so are there any examples? I simply need to be able to add a button or link that once clicked opens up a modal window for me to add data.

Hi Andy McShane,

You can add custom commands to the toolbar only. You can check the custom command example.

That's exactly what I wanted, thanks. Is that a new example that you have put up or am I going completely blind? I never noticed that one when I was looking earlier?

Hello Andy McShane,

That example is indeed brand new. We introduced it with the Q1 2010 official release (2010.1.309).

Is there a property available for aligning the button on either the left or right instead of just the left?
