Hello k,

We are not aware of such approach.Usually the approach to integrate Silverlight controls in an ASP.NET application is to use ASP.NET 3.5 and VisualStudio 2008.
Here are some nice articles on how to use Silverlight in ASP.NET application:

http://silverlight.net/learn/learnvideo.aspx?video=320
http://www.c-sharpcorner.com/UploadFile/nipuntomar/Silverlight07072008224544PM/Silverlight.aspx
http://silverlight.net/GetStarted/

And some more links that you may find useful:

http://demos.telerik.com/aspnet-ajax/upload/examples/silverlight/defaultcs.aspx

Regarding the using with silverlight controls in ASP.NET 2.0 you can ask your question in the Silverlight forums.
I've made a quick search in the forums and found these articles:
http://silverlight.net/forums/t/7203.aspx
http://stackoverflow.com/questions/758728/how-to-create-silverlight-application-in-asp-net-2-0

Hope this helps.
