add button to grid group panel

Is there a way to add a button to the group panel, I'd like to add a save button.
I can place the button on a tool bar but I'd like to save space.

In order to achieve your goal, you can predefine the GridViewGroupPanelTemplate of the grid and define the buttons you want inside. You can check this help article for a reference.
