Hello,
We would like to buy a license for the ASP.NET MVC Telerik components and to have some informations :
- The license price is $999 per developer ==> OK
- The renewal subscription is $499 : what will happen if we don’t renew the subscription ? Is there only an effect on the updates download access ? Will we still be able to use the components on a commercial purpose ?
Thanks in advance,

Hello Sébastien,
Thank you for getting in touch with us.
Indeed, the Telerik Extensions for ASP.NET MVC suite costs $999 per seat.
As for the renewal prices, there are two options and they are as follows:
- Early Renewal - $499/seat – if you renew before the subscription expiration date
- Late Renewal - $649/seat – if you renew after the subscription expiration date
However, please note that our licenses are perpetual, it’s the subscription that expires annually. The subscription entitles you to receive free version updates and priority support for period of 1 year. After that period is over, you can renew and continue to benefit from our support and software updates. The license itself, however, is perpetual and never expires. The software doesn’t cease to work after the subscription expires and your right to use the releases you have received, as well as distribute the created applications will not be affected in any way.
I hope this answers your questions. If I can be of any additional assistance, please let me know.
All the best,
Donna

So if we will not renew the subscription, we’ll not able to download the latest available version and use it in a commercial purpose, isn’t it ?? We must only use the latest version we paid. Sorry, it isn’t really clear in my mind… :)

Hi Sébastien,
If you do not renew your subscription, you'll not be eligible to receive any versions that are released after your subscription's expiration date. However, you'll still be able to use all the releases that you have received during your active subscription period.
I hope this clears things up for you. If you have any additional questions, please advise.
Sincerely yours,
Donna
