Hi there,

You can check the chart marked zones feature -- I believe it might help you to achieve the desired effect in your scenario: http://demos.telerik.com/silverlight/#Chart/MarkedZones.

Hi,

I believe the marked zones functionality is not specific to Silverlight4 -- check the documentation here to get you started: http://www.telerik.com/help/silverlight/radchart-features-annotations-marked-zone.html.

Hello balaji,

Marked zones were introduced with the latest official release of the control (Q2 2010) and are not available in older version of RadChart. You can download the latest trial from your account -- look for the download link "Silverlight 3 - DLLs only   (zip, 11 MB)".

Hope this helps.

Best wishes,

Hello balaji,

Really sorry for misleading you with our previous reply. Indeed you are right -- the marked zones feature is not available in the Silverlight3 version of RadChart so if you want to use it, you will need to upgrade your project to Silverlight4 and the latest version of the chart binaries for Silverlight4.

We apologize for not resolving this confusion earlier.

Sincerely yours,
Freddie

Hi balaji,

Unfortunately this customization cannot be achieved with the Silverlight3 version of the control and that is why we suggested upgrading your project to Silverlight4.

All the best,
