A bit slow and clunky? But otherwise AMAZING!

Hey Ice,

I just wanted to start by saying your service and app is just phenomenal! Really good work!

However, I just wanted to check something. When using the Ion App with QR code, page transitions and such are a little clunky and slow, is this a bug/connection issue (as its downloading) within the Ion app or is that what it would look like after downloading from the app store, which I assume would be already compiled by then?

Also, occasionally the back button will disappear.

I apologise if its a odd question!

Thanks :)

Hi Ian,

Thanks for your kind words about our new born baby. We appreciate them and this kind of feedback makes our day happier.

Regarding your issue with transitions delay - it comes from the way Kendo Mobile is handling the tab transition interaction. We have already passed this feedback to them, so expect a more smother transitions soon.

About the missing back button can you share more specific steps to reproduce?

Thanks.

This made me smile.

Onto the problem; when viewing a seperate page, so if I click on one, I have a form which links to a php script on a server, when returning occasionally the back button will vanish, but occasionally it has been random, thus I find it difficult to replicate.

Its great to hear they are acting on feedback though! Fantastic service, couldn't recommend higher!

Ian,

Can you try to upgrade to the latest official Kendo mobile version - 2012.2.913? If that does not help, you can share a JSBin snippet that illustrates the problem.

You can download Kendo from its CDN location:
Regarding JSBin (http://jsbin.com/) you can click Add Library and choose Kendo which will include the scripts in the current JSBin document so that you can play with it.
