I am glad to inform you that this bug is fixed and the fix will be included with the next release.
For your convenience I have attached a hotfix version which includes the fix.

I downloaded the hotfix, but for some reason it is still not firing up the onDataBound and onSeriesClick events. Any ETA on the next release with the updates?
