Hi there,

I'm testing Icenium with Kendo UI Mobile and I have some issues. Some help or guidance will be highly appreciated.

1. My app is not hiding notification bar (signal, clock, etc). I've tested Phonegap Build and all apps that I've build there had 100% height.

2. My app's buttons do not trigger any sound or vibrations as it should when pressed (I have sound and vibration when I press ANY other element like a paragraph, but none when I press any button). Again with other platforms I have it by default.

Please advice.

Best,
Shanon

Hi Shanon,

Thank you for your interest in Icenium and up to your questions:
  1. Are you referring to iOS or Android platform? If the latter, you're probably aware that this functionality has been added in the latest Android SDK and is only applicable to devices using Android KitKat (4.4.x). As of now Icenium does not yet support Android 4.4 but it is in our TODO list to introduce support for Android 4.4 in an upcoming release.
  2. Hybrid apps based on Cordova are basically ran on the device web browser. As such the buttons do not trigger any sound or vibration unless explicitly set to do this by using the Cordova notification API.

Steve
