Does anyone know if there are any known issues using the WebAii proxy on a Virtual Machine?

Currently we are seeing issues where all of our test machines are VM’s and at some point during the test run the proxy server will hang which causes all future test cases run on that machine to fail.  If we run without using the WebAii proxy we do not see this issue.

As I have yet to find a way to set the User-Agent without using the Proxy for Safari we need this proxy to work and be stable.

Any ideas?

Hello Chris,
we haven't noticed anything like that.

I'd say that the problem is probably related to how the VMs are integrated into your Ethernet. It's unlikely that the fact you're working on VMs, and not physicals machines, is causing the problem per se. Make sure the VMs have the same status in your Network as a regular machine (can they be pinged, do they have free access to the network (no password required)  etc).

Also, if possible, please send us an instance of test that exhibits this behavior and we'll check it out.

Hope to hear from you!

Kind regards,
