Visible only the year

Hi there,

I just want to visible the year only. I don't want to show the rest of them. I can see there is a property that you can show only the year ( DisplayMode="DecadeView" )  But when i click on the year i want the calendar close i don't want the calendar show me the month. basically i want the month and day hidden.

Thank you for contacting us.

With Q2 2010 release we introduces a new control - DateTimePicker. With it you can achieve the desired behaviour. First, you need to set its InputMode property to DatePicker and then set the DateSelectionMode property to Year.

Thank you for your reply. it work fine but there is something if i wanna pick only the year i don't want to show the month and day on the field after when you close the calendar.

To customize the format of the date in the TextBox of the DateTimePicker control you can set its Culture property to fit your requirements.
