vertical scroll bar issue in gridview

hi,
 i have an nested  grid view once i set height for my  first gridview the the  colum  with are getting scattered. image1
 if i do not set the  height it  works  fine image2

   but in my case  i need  to set the  height for my gridview. so that i dnt want to show the  grid   in entire page.
   any hekp  would be grealty appreicated
