I am trying to uninstall the RadControls for Silverlight Q1 2012. I am using Windows 7 x64 and I'm going to control panel, clicking on uninstall a program. I scroll down to the "Telerik RadControls for Silverlight Q1 2012" entry and click on uninstall. It comes up with a dialog box with a progress bar. It takes about 5 minutes, then the progress bar reaches the end and the dialog box just vanishes. The problem is, the entry still shows up in my list of programs and its still in the start menu. All of the other Telerik controls uninstalled just fine without any issue (e.g. RadControls for WinForms, RadControls for ASP.NET, RadControls for WPF). Is there a way to manually uninstall it? Or is there something I need to do first to make sure it successfully uninstalls?

Hello Alan,

Sorry for the caused inconvenience.
This usually happens when during the uninstall there are some files in use which could not be removed (If you have execute the Demos for Silverlight, the ASP.NET Development Server remains running and thus locks some file).
You could try to stop the Development Server and try again to uninstall the product from Add/Remove programs. Or you could also uninstall the product by using the msi file which you used for the installation. Just run the msi file again and choose the Remove option.

I hope this will help.
