unattended install for fiddlercap on specific directory

hi all,

 

hoping to understand why i cant seem to install Fiddlercap on the directory i want, it seems that using /D= its possible but i cant seem to get it working.

 

i tried without the /S option with /D=E:\apps\Fiddlercap and i always get the installer showing my desktop path.

Appreciate any help, thanks in advance!

Hello Daniel,

 

I've tried the following on my side, and it is working as expected:

FiddlerCapSetup.exe /S /D=E:\apps\FiddlerCap

After removing the above installation and the silent option, it seems that the prompted path by default will be the one that was last used (or if none was used it will be the desktop path you are seeing) which looks like a limitation of the UI installer (probably related to this feature request and this discussion)
