To Whom It May Concern:
I am trying to download/install the latest version of Fiddler Web Debugger tool in order to develop the performance test script for load testing.
Fiddler is unable to capture the HTTPS traffic from web application, system is displaying "SSL Server probably obsolete.

See attached with a screenshot/log.zip file for more details.

Thanks,

William Truong

Hello Willliam,

I am not able to reproduce the behavior you are describing. Could you please give it a try recording the traffic using FiddlerCap.

Hope this should work for you.

Ivaylo,
I have installed the Fiddler Cap but it doesn't capture the HTTPS traffic of the web application.
Could you be advised me?

Thank you,

William

Hi William,

This is usually caused by forgetting to check "Decrypt HTTPS traffic" and accepting the Fiddler root certificates. See attached screen shot.

Cody,
I did it before but no luck.
I rolled back to the old version 4.4.9.9 of Fiddler Web Debugger tool without upgrade to the latest version then its working good.

Thanks,

William

Howdy, William--

Please see http://textslashplain.com/2015/10/30/reset-fiddlers-https-certificates/ for details on how to reset your certificates after updating to the latest build of Fiddler.

Upgrading is important, as the certificates generated by older versions of Fiddler will stop working in upcoming browser versions.
