Android 7.0

Using Fiddler as a proxy to decrypt https traffic from a browser on the phone works ok. However, when using some apps I get:
Trust anchor for certification path not found

Is there a way around this?

Hi Johnny,

It might be that you need to reinstall the trust certificate. Note that you still won't be able to capture traffic for apps that are using additional security techniques (like a certificate pinning) and won't be able to capture traffic for apps you don't control (own) for Android 7.1. and above (see details about that in this thread).

Nick,

Thanks for the response. I solved it by using an old Android phone with Android 4.4. I can see the communication in plain text now.
