Is there any way to see what changes a person has made to your project theme such as a log?

Is there any way to save different versions of a project?

Once a change is made is there anyway to UNDO once you see its effected other controls negatively?

Is there anyway to Restore my project CSS from a backup, as some errors were made by my coworker while learning how to use the theme builder?

Hello Adam,

Q: Is there any way to see what changes a person has made to your project theme such as a log?

There is no history log for all changes made in a ThemeBuilder project.

Q:Is there any way to save different versions of a project?

Yes, the latest version of ThemeBuilder now supports versioning through the "Version History" option. You can learn more about creating versions from the following documentation article:

https://docs.telerik.com/themebuilder/basic-project-operations/manage-versions

Q: Once a change is made is there anyway to UNDO once you see its effected other controls negatively?

There are two ways to undo changes in a ThemeBuilder project:

- Through the Undo and Redo options available above a component (in the Advanced Edit view). This option works only for the last ten recent changes and won't be available once you leave the component or reload the project.

- The Reset option next to a property. This option resets the value of a modified property to its default value as set in the Kendo theme. This option is available for all properties that have a modified value.

Q: Is there anyway to Restore my project CSS from a backup, as some errors were made by my coworker while learning how to use the theme builder?

You can not restore a ThemeBuilder project from a SCSS or CSS file. You can only restore a project through one of the following options:

- The "Version History". This option was mentioned above and requires a version to be created prior to the changes.

- By using the "Import Metadata" option. This option expects an archive that contains the project's metadata as generated from the "Export Metadata" option.

Both options require earlier versions of the files to exist prior to the point of restoration.
