Hi Team,

Do we need to install Telerik Testing Framework on a client machine? Or registering the required Telerik DLL's in GAC is sufficient to run the tests on a client machine?

Hello Imran,

Thank you for contacting Telerik Support.

You need to install Telerik Testing Framework since it is much more than a set of DLL`s. Testing Framework is as well as a set of browser extensions for executing test in the browser and those must be installed by our installer and they will be correctly registered with the browser. We also add DLL`s to the GAC which are required during test execution.

Please, keep in mind that your browsers should be setup correctly. You should install the Extensions and Calibrate them accordingly.

Depending on the type of tests you have you should either have installed Testing Framework or Test Studio Run-time Edition. For example if you have .tstest files you should use Test Studio run-time edition and if you have unit tests you can use only Testing Framework.

Let us know if you have further questions.

Regards,
Vera
