We have a user with windows 7 OS getting a warning message every time when he opens Fiddler

The warning message image is attached to this post. We check and there are no other processes running with fiddler.

Please suggest workaround to solve this issue

Hi,

This is typically a bug caused by AVG antivirus, which slows the PC down so much (~2000%) that the check for another instance times out.

You probably should upgrade to the latest version of AVG (which may have fixed this) and you should *definitely* update to the current version of Fiddler (4.6) which has a workaround for this problem along with hundreds of other bugfixes and improvements.

Your definition of "instantaneous" and the computer's definition of "instantaneous" are very different things. To a 1ghz CPU, a delay of 40ms is practically an eternity.

Please upgrade.

Thank you,
