Table of Contents

Is it possible while creating a document with WordsProcessing to create a table of content just like I can do that using Microsoft Word Interop?

Hi Dmitry,

Table of Contents field is not yet genuinely supported, although it is in our product backlog. At this point it is possible to add such field using a CustomCodeField. More information and an example of this are available in the CustomCodeField article in the documentation.

Does WordsProcessing supports Updating Table of Contents that is already defined in docx file? The same question applies for table of figures.

Hello Tatijana,

At this point, RadWordsProcessing doesn't have notion of UI and cannot measure the document, which is required so it can update such a field. This feature is logged in our public portal: WordsProcessing: Table Of Contents - TOC field. It is also valid for Table of Figures functionality.
