I realize dropdowns are not yet supported natively on the spreadsheet control... but...
Is it possible to simulate a dropdown on a spreadsheet cell by dynamically creating one and populating it with values and placing it "over" the cell region? Also to retrieve the selected item and set it as the value on the cell once user makes a selection?

The explained scenario is not currently supported by RadSpreadsheet. Genuine data validation is already in our backlog. I encourage you to follow this item in our Feedback & Ideas portal and upvote it for faster implementation.
