I have a silverlight5 grid control for which the DOM is as attached. it exposes only one object.
If i have to play around grid via automation i.e. clicking on any cell. what are the approaches

Hi Naveen,

Unfortunately as you already noticed, it is not possible to access the Silverlight Visual Tree using the IE developer tools. You need a special tool in order to do that. The two good tools including Silverlight Visual Tree inspectors I'm aware of are Telerik Test Studio (with our DOM Explorer) and Silverlight Spy. Both are paid but have evaluation copy/trial period. You can also search for other tools on the internet. 
 
Also please read the Silverlight Automation section in our online documentation. This should be enough to get you started.
