Hi everyone,
just installed Telerik SL trial. When I run the demo I get the following error.
Server Error in '/' Application.
Compiler Error Message: CS0009: Metadata file 'c:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\assembly\GAC_MSIL\System.Web.Services\v4.0_4.0.0.0__b03f5f7f11d50a3a\System.Web.Services.dll' could not be opened -- 'An attempt was made to load a program with an incorrect format. '

When I try to build the solution I get the following error.
Error 34 The command "xcopy "C:\Program Files\Telerik\RadControls for Silverlight Q2 2012 SP1\Demos\QuickStartUI\Bin\Debug\*.xaml" "C:\Program Files\Telerik\RadControls for Silverlight Q2 2012 SP1\Demos\QuickStartUI\..\Examples.Web\Examples\Telerik.Windows.QuickStartUI" /s /y /i /r
Copy "C:\Program Files\Telerik\RadControls for Silverlight Q2 2012 SP1\Demos\QuickStartUI\Bin\Debug\Telerik.Windows.QuickStartUI.dll" "C:\Program Files\Telerik\RadControls for Silverlight Q2 2012 SP1\Demos\..\Binaries\Silverlight"" exited with code 1. QuickStartUI_SL
I searched the forum but could not find any entry. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

From the error message, you have provided, it seems that the issue is caused by something missing, or outdated in your development environment . In this relation, could you please check if you have installed:

- Visual Studio 2010 with SP1 (or higher) - download from here
- .NET Framework 4.0 - download from here
- Silverlight 5 Tools for Visual Studio 2010 SP1 - download from here
- WCF RIA Services - download from here.
- SQL Server 2008 Express
Also, if you already have all these installed, have you tried to run the demos on other machines?
