Does WebAii support Silverlight 4.0? I know it supports Silverlight 3.0, but wasn't sure if it currently worked with Silverlight 4.0? If not, when will WebAii be compatiable with Silverlight 4.0?
thank you.
thank you.

It seems that the current version of WebAii cannot work with Silverlight 4.0

Hello all,
Thanks for the posts. We are looking to support Silverlight 4 controls in a future version of the WebAii framework. Please check back with us as we continually look to update both WebUI and Framework features.
Sincerely yours,
Nelson

Hello Nelson,
Any "ball-park" estimate on when WebAii will be compatible with Silverlight 4.0? Will it be within the 2010 calendar year? Just trying to determine the right automation tool for testing against Silverlight 4.0 and future releases of Silverlight. Thank again.

Hi again Brandon,
So we are looking to add specfic support in the Framework for the new Silverlight 4 controls in the near future.
But just to clarify to any who may read this thread, the Framework will run against any application developed for and using the Silverlight 4 runtime.
The Framework is able to automate and test against these applications and their page elements, but there are currently not specfic wrapper controls in the Framework for SL 4 elements.
You should still be able to use the same Framework wrappers for any previous SL version controls that are in your app or reference elements in the WebAii Framework's copy of the Visual Tree using the FrameworkElement wrapper class.
All the best,
Nelson
