So what happened to the release of the Sharepoint controls? The release date mentioned in the newsletter last month said August 18. Any idea on when those will be available?
Also, I was curious if anyone had attempted to ajaxify any sharepoint controls. I am going to be using WSS v2 (which supports .Net 2.0, of course) to build a sharepoint prototype of an existing desktop client solution. I want to give the users a similar UI experience, so naturally I want to use the r.a.d.AJAX controls to accomplish that. I am not extensively experienced in Sharepoint/WSS development, so if anyone knows of any issues off the top of their heads, I would appreciate the insight.

The beta of the new SharePoint suite is available through our Forums:

I think it was posted last week.
As far as I know, we had a couple of customers who were using r.a.d.callback in SPS without problems. I do not know whether they have switched to r.a.d.ajax, but my guess is that it will work. Please, give it a spin and let us know what your initial impressions are. I will ask our developers whether they are familiar with any issues and will write back.

Ahh, thanks for the info Rob, I guess I wasn't signed up for the beta list or something so I didn't get any notification that the sharepoint controls were available.
As for the r.a.d.AJAX in SPS, I will definitely report back with any issues and let you know how it goes.
