Seting Date to European Format

Hello,

I'm trying to swap the date format from mm/dd/yyyy to dd/mm/yyyy,
any advices how to acomplish this ?

as well, at times, when using a GridViewDataColumn of type DateTime the editing mode is at American date format, how this as well can be changed to European ?
