Hello, I noticed the Telerik Editor as shown here http://demos.telerik.com/silverlight/beta/#RichTextBox/MSWord causes typing to lag some. Although I also noticed that if I have a RcihtextBox without an editor for it, then the typing is much faster. What is it in that demo (with the editor and all the buttons for the rich text box) that makes the typing slower than if if there's jsut simply a rich text box without the editor and buttons? Or what are some ways to get rid of the typing lag?

Thank you for noting your observation.
Having a RibbonBar somewhat slows down the speed at which newly-typed symbols appear in the RadRichTextBox. This is due to the fact that RibbonBar (or RadRichTextBoxRibbonUI) subscribes to events that typing in the Document fire, in order to change their state (e.g. the Bold button appearing as pressed if the caret is placed in a bold span).
We will look into the issue and improve the performance and responsiveness for the official release.

Hi We are using the RadRitchTextBox in our silverlight application and having the typyinglag issue when contents are more. we are using only the RadRitchTextBox contorl.
Can you please help us?

There logged a known performance diminishment when editing large documents in RadRichTextBox. What I can suggest at this point is to subscribe to the public feedback item in our portal so you can receive notifications about changes in its status. Unfortunately, we are unaware of a workaround which could be suggested other than the tips listed in the Performance help topic.
