Hello,

i need a resource view for the SL scheduler.somthing like seen here:
http://www.palmsoft.com/webscheduler/ -> resource timeline

it would simply perfect if it could have a right/left scrollable resurce list as seen here:
http://www.anychart.com/products/anygantt/online-demos/project-chart-editor/index.html

i'm pretty sure that it's not possible at the moment with the SL scheduler. but what is telerik
thinking about building a flexible resource/scheduler/gantt control? for me i have the need
for such a tool at least for 2 projects. for me there's no need for a full blown gantt chart with
start- ,end-points, milestones and so on. just a resource view for creating, moving and editiing
resources. any chance to get something like this in the nearest future?

regards

Hi Pantarhei,

Thank you for contacting us.

We will do our best to implement this feature in RadScheduler for Silverlight for the Q3 2009 release by the end of October/beginning of November.

We hope that this time frame is acceptable for you.

that sounds great! really surprised that it will be available so soon. :) for now we have to look for another solution.
but for a new release (scheduled Q2 2010) we'll use the SL components.

here a few things i'd like to see

timeline with these "viewpoints"
  • year
  • month
  • week
  • day - hourly
  • day - quarter hourly

  • creating events for resources in the viewtime context

can't wait to see what's coming up in Q3 2009. thx for your reply.
