Hello,
Is it possible to specify the size of the built in filter dialog or at least specify how many filterable items should be visible in the filter listbox? The 'Filter' button on each of our filter dialogs are getting cut-off and we'd like to reduce the height of the filter item listbox to only show 5 items at a time.

Hello Tim Lushbough,

There is a fairly simple way of customizing the filtering control of RadGridView. Attached I am sending you a sample to get you started on the task. In it you will find a RadGridView with a column defined in XAML. In the FilteringControl property of that column I have placed the default filtering control and edited its template so I you can make all the adjustments.

Let me know if you need any further assistance with this.

Sincerely yours,

Hello Kalin,
Thank you, but I didn't receive the template sample you sent. Did you get a chance to send it to me yet? Thanks!

Hi Tim Lushbough,

I guess I was too quick sending you the response and forgot to attach the sample for which I apologize.
I am attaching it now.

Kind regards,

Thank you for this. However, when applying the example style, the little filter icons in the header of the gridview no longer change color when a filter has been applied. Can you please update the example to include this functionality?

Hi KodeKreachor,

I have tested the sample I have sent you back in February and it updates the filtering icon as expected. I have tried reproducing the error you are having but to no avail. Could you please send me your implementation of the sample or a project which reproduces it so I can be of assistance?

Kind regards,
