I downloaded the "fiddler...dmg" and installed it. When I try to run it, I get this error "“Progress Telerik Fiddler” can’t be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software.".

Is this ready for MacOS at this point. I can't disable the verification in a corporate environment.

Now what?

Hello GL,

You are seeing this probably because the app is not installed from the App Store. You have options:

- install it with Right Click -> Open

- modify the system settings from Apple menu > System Preferences -> Security & Privacy -> General tab -> “Allow apps downloaded from”.

You mentioned that the second approach is not working for you, could you try the first one?

Hi Boby,

Yes, I tried the option you mentioned. I see these options when I r-click on the .dmg: "DiskImageMounter(default)", App Store" and "Other".

First one is the default installer.

Second one, when I try, it opens App Store but fiddler is not found in the store. Not sure what to do here or how I can force App Store to install the .dmg.

Third option asks me to select some installer using Finder, again not sure what to choose here.

Any ideas?

Hi GL,

Immediately after attempting to open the file, in the Security & Privacy section of System Preferences, do you see a notification and a button available to Open Anyway like in the below screenshot? If so, you'll need to click the Open Anyway and then try to open it again. This should enable the Open button from the installer. See the Mac App Can't Be Opened and the Mac Gatekeeper 101 threads for more information.

Please give this a try and let me know the results. Thank you and I look forward to your reply.
