I am coming across a weird situation, just wondering if anybody else has seen it, or if I'm doing something terribly wrong.

My pointer is on the 'Next >>' button but the highlight and nub are far away. The nub is so far I can't click it without moving my pointer which then takes the highlight out of focus.

Hello Susan,

First, thank you for taking the time to evaluate WebUI Test Studio! You are running into this problem because the IE zoom level is not set to 100%. Our highlighing only works correctly when this is set to 100%. I took your screen shot and circled in red what I'm referring to (see the attached file).

Let me know if there's anything else I can help you with.

Best wishes,
Cody

Hello Susan,

Can you please share with us the exact version of WebUI Test Studio you're running into this with? I can't seem to find the download from your account and wonder if you had a chance to try the latest official release we launched this week? The release is 2010 Q2 Service Pack and the build is labeled 2010.2.830.

If the highlighting issue appears running the latest build is there a live page we can reproduce this issue on?

Kind regards,

Hello,
Yes I installed from WebUI_TestStudio_Developer_2010_2_830_Trial.msi.
In my Control Panel I have verified that the program installed is Telerik WebUI Test Studio 2010.2; however in VS2008 in Help it shows WebUi Test Studio 2010.1, not sure why.

When I also navigate to Google.com it does the same thing, so I don't think it is application specific. I'm beginning to believe it is some other setting somewhere on my machine? I am using IE 8;

What other information would you like to know?

Hello Susan,

Looks like the problem now is your DPI setting. Please set it to the default (96 DPI) as shown in the attached screenshot. Be aware that when you change this setting. the IE zoom level will also change. You will have to change it back to 100%.

Regards,
Cody
