When I start VS I'm told there are new extensions.

I go to Extension Manager and am told I can upgrade the Telerik Silverlight extensions from version 2.719 to 2.831. I opt to upgrade, it downloads and starts the installer. I click on the "Install" button and I get an error telling me that this version is already installed. Next time I start VS I get the same story.

Hi Stuart,

I am afraid the extensions may be unable to automatically update due to privileges conflict. Can you please try manually reinstalling the extensions (uninstall them from the Extensions Manager but make sure Visual Studio is ran with administrator privileges).

Hope we get the issue resolved soon.

I had the same issue.
Running VS with admin rights solved the issue for me.
