I have set my Application Theme to Vista and wish to override control themes on certain views.  I have tried setting the theme in Xaml as well as in code to no avail.  Is this not supported?  I saw another post from May of last year where this was addressed for the RadGridView, but it doesn't appear to work for either the Chart or Grid in my case.

I am using VS2010RC and Silverlight 4RC as well as the latest bits from Telerik.

Thanks,
Christian

Hi Christian,

We investigated this scenario locally and unfortunately there is an issue with the styling mechanism for RadChart. Still, RadGridView appears to work fine for me. Are there any further specifics than setting application theme and then specific theme for the control itself?

I have logged the chart issue, so our developers will research the possibilities to fix it.

As a temporary workaround for RadChart you can use the PaletteBrushes functionality to overwrite the style of your series.
