Is there any way to set the timeline to overlap data when it falls in the same time period instead of putting it on another line? I have a bunch of time periods and I just want to plot them all on one line leaving gaps where there is no data. Can the timeline control provide this functionality? If not is there any other control you can suggest?

I have attached two photos, the original is how the timeline would display the data now and compressed is what I would like it to look like.

Hello Kirk,

Basically, in case you need the timeline axis and the scrollbar, you can use a combination of two controls - RadTimeline and RadDataBar. The idea is to use a dataBar control in the template of the timeline item to visualize all periods that you want to overlap. We use this approach in our First Look demo.

On the other hand, in case you simply need a control to visualize a couple of overlapping periods, you can use only RadDataBar. Please refer to our online demos for a quick overview of the control.

All the best,

Thank you for your help. I ended up using the timeline control but I just combined my timestamps before adding them. This ended up being easier and worked just how I wanted.
