Hi,

We here are facing some peculiar problem, the Rad OutlookBar doesn't load at client machine where as the same works fine and excellent on development machine. And it is observed that when a Silverlight development version is installed on the same machine, it again works fine. Is the Rad Outlook bar dependent on the Silverlight Development version? And if so, is there any way out to get rid of the developer version on the client version, here we can't force our clients to install Developer, please get me out out this tricky situation.

Note: We use Silverlight 4, Prism 4

Thanks and Regards,
Syed Asif

Hello,

Please accept our apologies for the late reply. We are not aware of such issue with the RadOutlookBar and actually I'm not sure what exactly your problem is, because in the second image I can see the RadOutlookBar and I just can't see the RadOutlookBarItems. So the problem is that the items are not loaded or the whole RadOutlookBar is not loaded?

Hi Viktor Tsvetkov,

Thanks for your response, yes you are right, here the RadOutlookBar doesn't load its RadOutlookBarItems. Do we need Silverlight Developer for them to load? And if so, how can we avoid using it?

Hello,

Actually you don't need something special to use the RadOutlookBar and it should run in any Silverlight runtime, but in your case I think you have some problems with the Prism, so you should investigate if your project loads properly the different parts via the Prism pattern.
