Offline Installer for Test Framework

Hi,

Is there an offline installer for the Telerik Testing Framework 2013?  I downloaded the regular install kit (TestingFrameworkFree.2013.2.1327), but it is trying to download additional files during the install which is failing (perhaps due to poor internet connection).

Hi Steve,

Are you using our .MSI file? That is our offline installer. It's probably detecting that .NET Framework version 4.5.1 is not installed and trying to download and install that from the Microsoft server. Test Studio requires this version of the .NET Framework. If you manually install this first before running our installer you should be good to go.

The file that I have is a .exe not an msi.  Can you please provide the .msi file?

Although I am logged in, when I go to the link you provided, there is no file to download.

Also, please note that I am trying to install the Test Framework (free version) not Test Studio.

Otherwise I'm forced to automate the web installer :-)

Hello Dipen,

The off-line installer of Testing Framework could be get when: go for the free installation (first screenshot), click on Cancel (for the web installer) and then follow the link pointed on the second screenshot.

Hi. Where's the link to the .msi itself. All I can find is the smaller installer which then downloads the msi.

I don't have an internet connection at the target machine so I have to get the .msi itself.

What are my options?

Hi Dmitry,

Please use this link to trigger the Telerik Testing Framework exe file download. Since you need the msi file, cancel the first download and as shown in the screenshot from the previous post, trigger the download of the msi file. For that download you will need internet connection, and then you can transfer the file through your local network.
