Obfuscate code with ProGuard

Hi

I have a requirement to obfuscate my Java code in an AppBuilder app. I have read elsewhere that you can set this up easily in Cordova, eg

But I don't know where "/platforms/android/project.properties" is. 

Can you please provide detailed steps for me to enable ProGuard obfuscation? I am using the Visual Studio extension by the way.
