Not able to add Silverlight Report Viewer in the application

Hi,

I followed the steps to add the Silverlight Report Viewer as per mentioned in the document provided for Telerik Report Viewer.
But I'm not bale to add it in my application.

It's giving error as  "The assembly reference "Telerik.Reporting version=4.0.10.317, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToekn=a9d7983dfcc261be" could not be added to the project".

Source Code is also not given in the Trial Demo. Can you please tell me why this error occured while adding the Silverlight Report Viewer in my application or can you share the sample application with source code to me.

Hello Amruta Belurkar,

Actually the Telerik.Reporting assembly is not needed in the Silverlight project. You should only add reference to the Telerik.ReportViewer.Silverlight assembly along with the assemblies from RadControls for Silverlight suite. You can open the Visual Studio examples that come with the product installation and review the sample Silverlight project we provide. Also the following video should get you started: Getting Started with the Silverlight Report Viewer.

Thanks for replying. But I didn't get any Visual Studio examples when I download it.
Can you please share with me sample source code application for Silverlight Report Viewer.

Hello Amruta,

You need to have SQLExpress/SQL Server 2005 or above present on your machine in order to be able to install the AdventureWorks database and respectively the demo reports I've mentioned in previous post. Anyway I've attached the sample application for your convenience.

Hello Steve,

Thanks for sharing the sample application for Silverlight Report Viewer but I am not able to download it.
Can you share it again beacuse when I tried to download it, it's saving webpage as a HTML document not the application zip file.
